My beautiful mama is in the ICU in critical condition. We were all called Thursday night (July 31st) to come as quickly as we could, fully expecting the worst. We’ve been by her side ever since. The medical team has gotten her stable, and she’s still with us. Whatever the Lord’s will for her life, it will be a long road. Right now, we’re all trying to figure out how to keep doing life and be with her as much as possible.

Many people have asked what they can do to help. It’s hard to know what you need in times like this. But you can help my dad. He had to quit working earlier this year to be her full-time caregiver. As you can imagine, this makes their income extremely limited.

Because of all the time at the hospital, he’s been having to eat out for most of his meals. The cost of food is so high right now, it won’t take long at this rate to be unable to pay their bills. What's happening right now is most important. We can only take it day by day. But when this is all over, the medical bills will be astronomical.
