Emergency Housing Fund

Hi, I'm Dan. Most of you know my work as a photographer, author and book cover artist. For the last two years tho I've been the caregiver for a 77 year old housebound, chair-bound who was helping me with expenses for taking care of him. I did it because it was the right thing to do, even tho there was no pay.

Unfortunately, his health suffered a traumatic setback and he was hospitalized and will be so from now on. That left me suddenly with no home and no resources . I've searched countless listings for weeks to find someplace within my budget and there is none. I will need to be able to pay more rent to locate a decent place. I even tried churches and there is a waiting list for those, and I will need to vacate ASAP. (You can imagine my stress level.)

I've had friends donate some funds for which I'm grateful, but don't get me close to what I need to get out. By my calculations, I came up with the sum which will let me move and get back on my feet with a little less stress, hopefully.

I have always thought I would never do this until the desperation of the situation has made me realize there is no other way.

For those who donate, please know I am forever grateful and appreciative and hope I can pay it forward again myself.
