After recent X-rays, we discovered that Oliver’s IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) is more severe than we initially hoped. Instead of being isolated to one spot, calcification is present throughout his entire spine—every area except his neck—causing serious pain and early signs of paralysis.

We’ve been referred to Dr. Dugat in Stillwater, who offers a specialized laser procedure that has helped other dogs with similar conditions. This treatment can reduce the calcification compressing Oliver’s spine and give him a real chance at a pain-free, mobile life.

We’re hoping to raise $5,000 to cover the cost of the laser procedure and necessary CT scans. Any additional funds will go toward Oliver’s existing medical bills, a back brace, and the recovery process—including physical therapy and long-term care.

Anyone who has met Oliver knows he is a pure ball of goofy, loyal and unconditional love.

For those who haven’t had the joy of meeting him: Oliver will turn three this August. His favorite things in the world are cuddling, giving kisses with his stinky breath, zooming through tall grass, napping under the covers, and playing with his kitty sisters.
