We're reaching out because our brother, Killian, needs our support during a challenging and unexpected medical situation.

What began as a routine surgery on Wednesday, April 23rd, to help Killian's sleep apnea has unfortunately taken a difficult turn. Due to severe complications, including swelling that made it impossible to eat or drink and caused airway concerns, Killian had to be hospitalized just two days later, on Friday, April 25th.

As of today, Sunday, April 27th, Killian remains in the hospital. While he's making small progress (now able to drink some liquids), this ordeal has triggered major, unforeseen issues with his Type 2 Diabetes. Doctors are concerned as he now needs insulin every few hours – something he's never required before – and they are working hard to stabilize his condition.

This sudden medical crisis is creating significant strain. Killian was already facing challenges getting insurance to cover the initial surgery (an issue still unresolved). Now, with an extended hospital stay meaning he's unable to work, the medical bills are piling up rapidly.

As many of you know, Killian is someone who rarely asks for help, which makes this situation even harder. He and his family are facing mounting medical expenses and the stress of lost income during his recovery.
