Funeral Expenses for Melvin Roberts

On 04/10/14 I lost my dad, the very first man that I ever loved.  He'd been sick and I knew that his health was failing, but I never thought that it would happen so fast.  There was so much more I wanted to say....

My dad was a hardworking man and loved his family.  When my mom passed in 2006, he put plans in place for a day that he knew would inevitably come, his own funeral.  At that time he bought his burial plot (next to my mother) and even purchased his headstone, but unfortunately those plans are only a few of the details that need to be taken care of now.  With all of the money he was receiving each month going to his in home medical care, he had no savings to cover the expenses that we now need to cover.  He did have insurance, but it's not enough to take care of all the costs with the funeral home. 

So now, here I am asking for your help in covering the expenses of a man who did so much for me without asking for anything in return.  A man who fought for his country, then came home and fought for his family each day.  Please help me lay my father to rest with the dignity he deserves by donating to this fund dedicated to his burial expenses.
