Liam is 5 years old. In December of 22 we were informed that Liam had an Atrial Septal Defect, and the hole was very large.
In April I delivered our daughter , Halsey.
In late April we attempted to place a device with a less invasive surgery. Unfortunately the hole was too large and the surgery was unsuccessful.
Today we underwent open heart surgery.
Liam is in CICU currently.
We did our very best to prepare financially for a new baby and a major surgery ,simultaneously . We are finding that there are some expenses we underestimated such as food costs, gifts to distract Liam from pain, and some purchases we were unaware we would need to make.
We don’t need a ton of money, but we do need a bit of financial support. I’m setting my ego aside to keep my child as comfortable as possible while we navigate this trauma.
Thank you to every person who has ever touched Liam’s life in anyway.
