My granddaughter was involved in a terrible accident on June 2nd, just days after graduating high school, her name is Hailey Purdy.  Through no fault of her own, from the accident,  she received several broken bones, most of each must heal with time on their own.  She's had surgery on her leg to have a rod inserted and has suffer a brain injury.  The doctors say it could take up to one year for her complete recovery.  On June 14th, she was transported from ICU to Shepard Hospital in Atlanta, GA.  This hospital specializes in brain injury trauma.  Her mother, Trina Purdy, will be with her 24/7 which will keep her out of work for an indefinite period of time.  She has 2 other daughters at home, one college age and one still in high school.  Luckily we have family in GA that will help with Hailey's sisters.

Hailey spent 12 days in the ICU at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, so I can only imagine what the medical bills will be.  Once her inpatient rehab at Shepard is finished, she will need outpatient rehab as well.

I have started the donation at $15,000, however, I know the bills will far exceed that amount.  Any donation, no matter how small, will be  greatly appreciated and a huge help.

Hailey is an intelligent and strong willed young lady so we know she will make a complete recovery but the process will be slow.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and thank you all.
