Celebrating the Life of Juan "Jr" Soto Feliciano

Hi, my name is Nadia, and I am fundraising for funeral expenses for my uncle Junior (Juan Soto Feliciano). Junior was a loving father, brother, uncle and grandfather, a great friend to many, and he will be greatly missed.

 

My cousin Esmirna wanted me to share the following words.

Our father was a hardworking man with a beautiful sense of humor and a fascination for music. At 17 years old, he taught himself how to play the guitar, which became his way of praising the Lord. Over the years, he was part of several Christian “Trio” groups, where he played lead guitar.

 

Our dad was part of a couple of recordings, some of which we will be playing at this funeral. His ability to play music lasted until three years ago, when his Parkinson’s was advanced enough to make it difficult to play any longer.

 

Mostly, our dad will be missed for just being a dad. He left us with many wonderful memories that will forever live in our hearts!

Hola, mi nombre es Nadia y estoy recaudando fondos para los gastos del funeral de mi tío Junior (Juan Soto Feliciano). Junior fue un amoroso padre, hermano, tío y abuelo, un gran amigo para muchos, y lo extrañaremos mucho.
 
Mi prima Esmirna quería que compartiera las siguientes palabras:
Nuestro padre era un hombre trabajador con un gran sentido de humor y fascinación por la música. A los 17 años aprendió por sí mismo a tocar la guitarra, que se convirtió en su forma de alabar al Señor. A lo largo de los años, formó parte de varios trios Cristianos, donde tocaba la primera guitarra.

Nuestro papá fue integrante en varias grabaciones, algunas de las cuales compartiremos en este funeral. Su habilidad para tocar música duró hasta hace tres años, cuando su Parkinson estaba lo suficientemente avanzado como para que le resultara difícil seguir tocando.

 

Sobre todo, echaremos de menos a nuestro padre simplemente por ser padre. ¡Nos dejó muchos recuerdos maravillosos que vivirán para siempre en nuestros corazones!
