Brackett Family
Last weekend Wesley had a stroke in the middle of the night. Luckily, his wife recognized the signs of a stroke and quickly got him to the hospital. He was admitted into ICU, where they kept him for several days. He could not swallow properly, and lost most function on the left side of his body. Wesley had a few set backs at the hospital including a fall where he hit his head on a metal railing. He also had a reaction to the blood pressure medication and his blood pressure dropped too low, they nearly had to shock him back twice! Thankfully, now he is in another hospital with a state of the art Stroke Rehabilitation Center. He is working extremely hard to get back on his feet, and home to his wife and two young children. Then, eventually back to work, as he was the main provider for his family.
This weekend I know will be most difficult on them as we celebrate Valentine’s Day, and the desire to be together as family. His wife Tiffany is a small business owner of a dance studio. She is the main teacher there, so any time away from her studio makes it extremely difficult for income. She has done an amazing job juggling it all so far. Tiffany had already planned a huge party for her dance studio this weekend (large event). But, as most of you know that means lots of to-do’s and stress! It would be greatly appreciated if you could help by prayer, sharing this story, or donation!!
