Medical expenses and financial burden

My name is Tabitha, I am Kevin's daughter and I want to help my momma and daddy the best way I know how right now.

If you don't already know my daddy is really, really sick. This all started about 3 weeks ago. It started with vision whiteouts, losing sight for a minute, very lightheaded and dizzy. Minor heart palpitations, cold then clammy and sweaty, almost gasping to breathe. Now he is extremely winded, and out of breath, just walking to the kitchen or bathroom. He has always taken several medications for blood pressure. Those have now all stopped. His blood pressure now is very low, like 88/65. He has been in and out of the hospital for test after test. They did a Brain CT, Chest CT, Abdominal CT, Pelvic CT, Vascular ultrasound on both legs, and an echocardiogram of his heart. The doctors were convinced that we were facing colon cancer, so a colonoscopy was done last Wednesday. Very large polyps were removed, the largest 30mm, but she said

that she got everything and there was no further evidence of cancer in the colon. We know that he is in Renal failure, stage IV and the bloodwork on his liver indicates liver damage. He has a live ultrasound coming up soon.

My daddy is weak, he sleeps a lot. His appetite is gone and he is losing weight. Due to everything going on he is out of work and unsure for how long. My momma is on disability herself, so they are relying on her disability right now and it is just not enough. The medical bills have been tremendous. His health insurance is not the best and will have to be paid out of pocket while he is out of work. I am praying for a miracle for daddy.

Please pray that they can find the cause of this, also pray for my momma and daddy’s finances. As a family, we just need to

survive all of this. Most important, pray for Kevin's health to be restored. God has been with us every step of the way and I Thank Him and give him Praise for Daddy's life. Please pray that our needs are met. We love you all and I will update you if they find anything at all.

If you have ever met my daddy, you know he is a kind man and would do anything for anyone. He has many grandchildren that want to see their papa back to full of life. I want my daddy back to his old self and I want to see my momma not crying worrying stressing not just my daddy but for the financial part of it all. She has not left my daddy’s sight in 3 weeks; she has been helping take care of him and doing everything possible to try to get him better.
