Local Horse Stable Destroyed By Hurricane Ian

Donation protected
This fundraiser is to help rebuild Saddlewood Horse Club, a beautiful neighborhood gem in Cape Coral, Fl that boards horses, provides horse lessons, birthday parties, and houses several rescues and retired race-horses, which was unfortunately devastated by a tornado during Hurricane Ian. This is a place where children as young as 2yrs could go and learn to love and care for these beautiful animals.

The storm led to collapsed the 2 story high covered arena as well as parts of the barn.

Luckily all the horses survived the storm, but right now the horses are lacking adequate resources including fresh water, horse feed, and hay. They need a lot of help right away - even a few dollars will add up to help rebuild and keep these animals safe.

At the moment the barn’s water supply was destroyed during the hurricane and the 26 horses need about 100 gallons a day to survive in the Florida climate.

Supplies that are needed:
- Metal roofing
- Clean water for the horses
- Hay and feed for the horses
- Roof shingles
- Ply wood
- Nails
- Screws
- Feed buckets
- Manure carts and buckets
- Siding
- Fencing material of all kinds
- Stall doors and walls
