Acapulco devastated by historic hurricane Otis

Dear friends

Acapulco has been greatly affected by hurricane Otis. There are major power outages, and there is no real form of communication. Our community literally lost everything in all social levels, the situation is catastrophic.

Acapulco was hit with Category 5 hurricane and it destroyed hotels, homes and businesses. Information has been hard to get because most of the metropolitan area is still without phone or internet service.

In the meantime, we want to start to help by donating $$ and any items (clothes, shoes, baby food, etc) within your possibilities. We will be collecting these items personally and we will find the way to send them to our beautiful Acapulco ❤️ please contact us for further info. Donations are in US dollars.

We are working closely with friends who are on the grounds in Acapulco and we will be using the funds to best help the people who need it the most. As for now we know that there is a great need of water cistern tanks (tinacos) especially in rural areas so we will start distributing the funds to support these people in need.
