It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I share with you the devastating news of the passing of Noa's father, Gustavo Herrera. He and Noa were involved in a tragic head-on collision last night, and despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Gustavo succumbed to his injuries. Noa underwent emergency surgery, and is in recovery at Cook Children’s.

In times like these, words can feel inadequate, and the pain is beyond measure. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Daisy, Noa and their family as they navigate through this incredibly difficult time. Losing a loved one is never easy, and we want Daisy and Noa to know that our entire soccer family and community is here to offer support, love, and strength.

Donations will be immediately put towards Gustavo’s celebration of life and Noa’s medical bills.

Let us remember the positive impact Gustavo had and cherish the moments we shared with him in our thoughts and prayers. The strength of our team extends beyond the soccer field, and together, we will navigate these difficult times.
