Glioblastoma Diagnosis
Donation protected
On May 1st 2025, our world changed forever.
My stepdad, Jason, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (GBM)—an aggressive and devastating form of brain cancer. It’s been a heartbreaking and emotional roller-coaster for our entire family. What started as headaches, dizzy spells, and extreme fatigue about six weeks ago quickly spiraled into something much more serious. Jason saw the doctor twice during that time, but unfortunately, no further tests were done.
May 1st, while at work, Jason experienced multiple dizzy spells and nearly passed out. He was sent home, and my mom knew something wasn’t right—she took him straight to the ER. That’s when our nightmare became reality.
An MRI revealed a 6cm mass in his frontal lobe.
Jason was immediately transferred to Regions Hospital for evaluation by a neurosurgeon. Within days, he was scheduled for brain surgery on May 5th. The surgeon believes he was able to remove the entire tumor but had to proceed with extra care because of how deeply embedded it was. The coming weeks and months will be critical as Jason recovers and begins the next phase of treatment, which will include radiation, chemotherapy, and more.
This diagnosis has shaken us to the core. Jason is a kind, hardworking man who would do anything for his family. Now, we’re doing everything we can to support him through this fight—but we can’t do it alone.
Brenda, my mom (Jason’s wife) is his full time caregiver and is doing everything in her power to help Jason throughout this extremely difficult time.
We are asking for your help.
The financial burden of this diagnosis is overwhelming—hospital bills, travel expenses, time off work, and ongoing treatments will quickly add up. Every dollar raised will go directly toward Jason’s medical care and the costs associated with his recovery.
If you are unable to donate, we completely understand. Please consider sharing this page, sending prayers, or keeping Jason and our family in your thoughts.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for your love, support, and generosity during this incredibly difficult time.
With love and gratitude,
