Ian Franks Memorial Fund

Anyone who knew Ian, knew that he had two passions: guitar and mountain biking. Since Ian passed, our family has wanted to do something that would benefit youth with similar interests. After much thought, we have decided to make a donation to our local high school, Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School. While in high school, Ian took a guitar class where he learned to develop his skills further and foster his love of music. After speaking with Ian's former teacher, we heard that the guitars at the school aren't in the greatest shape and with continued budget cuts, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to purchase new guitars. Therefore, we decided that as a family we would purchase what we could, but when others showed interest in contributing towards Ian's legacy gift, we thought we would open up this account in hopes of doing everything we can to help develop the skills of other passionate youth.
