Hi Everyone,

December 29: We originally created this platform in support of Isaac and his family in November when he unexpectedly was hospitalized. As you are aware, Isaac passed away in late December and his family and friends are devastated by this news. Donations to this account will go to Isaac's wife and three girls to assist in the coming months with expenses and needs. Additionally, Micki and the girls would like to start a scholarship in Isaac's honor so a portion of these funds will also go to support that. Details of this scholarship are still being finalized with the family but it would be a Brandeis HS student (in honor of Isaac's amazing, constant, and fanatical support of all things Brandeis) and will go to someone who is a true team player, someone who always lifts others up (as Isaac was so adept at doing) to all he met. This spirit of Isaac will be one of the many things he leaves to family and friends as part of his legacy. Thank you for any and all support.

November post: We are creating this GoFundMe on behalf of Isaac Valadez and his family, who are navigating an unexpected and deeply challenging moment. Isaac recently suffered a sudden heart attack and is currently in the ICU, undergoing multiple medical interventions and surgeries. He remains intubated and sedated, surrounded every moment by his loving family. Beyond the hospital walls, he is uplifted by a wide circle of friends, coworkers, and community members who are praying, hoping, and standing firmly with him.

We have set up both a meal train (shared through a separate link) and this GoFundMe to help support the Valadez family with mounting medical expenses as well as the everyday life costs that inevitably grow during a crisis like this.

As many of you know, Isaac is the kind of person who gives endlessly—a friend to all, a source of light in every room, and someone whose positivity lifts others even on their hardest days. He pours his time and heart into his community, especially his beloved Bronco family, and volunteers in more ways than most people ever see.

Now, it’s our turn.

Our turn to show him the same generosity, love, and unwavering support he has always shown others. Our turn to rally around Isaac and his family and help carry them through this incredibly difficult time.
