My name is Courtney Landers, and this gofundme is being made in the name of my mom, Jan Landers. I never thought I would be making one of these and asking people for help, but under the circumstances that have been dealt to my brother and I, I really dont know what else to do.
Our mom Jan was diagnosed with cancer May 4th of 2015. Mom was the most amazing person anyone could ever have the honor to meet. She was nice, caring, she put others first. She always lit up a room, and she was truly my absolute best friend. She loved concerts, amuesment parks, and traveling. She has seen more states than she hasnt seen....she had a love for life that you just dont see in many.
Mom put on a strong fight to the last minute. With a very heavy heart Its come today on March 8th, 2016 at about 4am, that my mother has taken her last breath. My mom was sick at the beginning of her diagnosis and was unable to work from the beginning. When she could finally accept that she could no longer work she resigned from her position as a waitress at Bob Evans, and this terminated her life insurance policy. With her no longer having a life insurance policy we are left with any bills and no way to pay for everything.
We will be scraping together what we can, but we would be greatly appreciative of any donations that anyone would be willing to give. We would like to give her the beautiful ceremony she deserves and we will find a way to thank anyone who is willing to help us.
The sooner donations can be made the better as to directly help with the funeral, but we will also use donations for any medical expenses that havent been covered. Thank you to anyone who has taken the time to read this.
