Help for Immigration Expenses
Hello Everyone, My name is Prince, I’m an extremely hard working 24-year-old guy currently living in New York City.
I was in the midst of filing all the documents to get my American Passport, when suddenly my entire future was put at stake.
About 6 months ago I was taken into Immigration custody and was being held in an immigration detention center without any representation, just waiting helplessly to hear my fate without a proper hearing.
I desperately need help coming up with $15,000, to hire an attorney, to pay my bond of $5,000 and to pay the fees to process my adjustment of status paperwork all within the next before I’m deported and have no chance to return back to the United States
I’m currently unemployed since I lost my job while I was being held in an immigration detention center As a result I was forced to move out of my home because I can't afford to pay the rent and utilities on my own. I’m currently living with my best friend. I feel so helpless and I'm scared I could be deported.
Even worse, I fear what would happen to me if I’m sent back to Nigeria considering the horrifying and dangerous economic and political volatility that the country is facing.
I have built beautiful hopes and dreams for my future, and now it's all being threatened by the injustice of the immigration system. I know we live in a time where immigration is a heated and divisive issue, but I ask you to open your heart and to understand that this is not a story about immigration but about saving me from deportation.
