Unexpected Hospitalization

Donation protected
UPDATE 4/27/24:  the perforation is closing and I’m still wearing the drain tube and bag. Scheduled for surgery May 15. Would like to thank everyone who has donated so far, it has helped and it is greatly appreciated. Thank you. ❤️❤️
UPDATE 4/10/24:  have to wear the drain tube and bag for two more weeks so that the perforation can close up more before having surgery. Aiming to have surgery in May.
A big thank you to everyone who has helped so far.  ❤️❤️
Hi, my name is Christine and I am fundraising for myself. On 3/26/24, during a follow-up appointment, I was told by my primary care physician to get to the hospital ASAP. I ended up in the hospital for three days fighting an infection caused by appendicitis and an abscess on my appendix. Two weeks later I’m still home with a drain/bag coming out of my side, waiting for a surgery date and going for another CT scan.
(In that picture I was happy that I finally got to eat some Jell-O after almost 36 hours in the hospital).
Then last Thursday, I received a notice that the property management company of my apartment complex will not be renewing my lease and I have to be out of there by July 31, 2024.
My TDI won’t kick in for another 3-4 weeks and even that isn’t enough to cover everything. In the meantime, I have medical bills to pay, rent, food, medication, and I am absolutely not prepared to move, as I have no place to go, let alone a security deposit and first month’s rent in order to even start looking for an apartment. I was not expecting this at all…any of it. Anything would be truly, truly appreciated. Thank you and God bless you.
