My name is Tatianna Salisbury, and I'm in the midst of publishing my debut poetry & short story collection: "Words My Heart Needed to Hear."

What's your book about?

It's all too tempting to say 'everything,' but it wouldn't be an inaccurate description. The book is about love and life, and how one cannot exist without the other. It's stories of me at my highest and lowest. It's honest words from a heart finding the courage to speak. The chapter structure takes you through my deepest appearances of love: love that sparks, love that takes, love that hurts, love that heals, and love that lasts.

Have you always wanted to write a book?

Yes, yes, yes. I've been writing this dream in journals since I can remember. I'm finally at a place in my life where I feel I have the words that speak what I've always wanted to say.

How long is the book?

5 chapters, about 150 pages.

As I am self-publishing my first book, I thought GFM would be a great way to gauge interest and serve as a "pre-order" before I launch the book on Amazon and other online retailers.

Yes! Everyone who donates $10 gets a digital copy, $15 for a paperback copy, and $25 for a hardcover copy. All print copies will be signed.

When will I receive my copy?

I'm currently in final rounds of the manuscript edits and designing the format. My goal is to have everything finalized and ready to print on demand by July 2023. If you donate between now and July, I will reach out to you to confirm I have added your order to my first shipment. I will keep you updated every step of the way as the book is printed and shipped.
