Tricia West's Medical Expenses
Tricia's illness began in April of 2015 with a sore throat, a few sniffles, inflammation of her joints and blister-like bumps along with a burning sensation on her fingers. She was admitted to the hospital and it was determined at that time that she had a mononucleosis infection.
Almost 7 months have passed since then and in those long ensuing months, her symptoms have multiplied and become more complicated. Tricia is experiencing more discoloration and deterioration of her fingers. Inflammation has become more severe and she now has difficulty walking and needs assistance for everyday activities. Tricia uses additional oxygen continually to help her body get enough oxygenated blood. She recently had to have several blood transfusions as well. She has been hospitalized for about 42 days during her 5 recent hospital stays. Tricia is currently in extended rehabilitation.
Although no "real" diagnosis has been confirmed, her body seems to be mending in small ways...which are monumental, of course. Even with these small victories, she will be facing several surgeries on her fingers in the near future.
We covet your prayers and welcome any donations that you can contribute to Tricia West's Medical and Financial Expenses fund. As you can imagine, the medical bills and financial obligations are monumental.
Tricia is special to many people...just like so many people are special to her.
