In the last couple of years, my health has taken a pretty bad turn. Last fall, I suffered an injury that has made even the most basic of tasks difficult. Because of this, bills are piling up and my savings have been completely depleted. I could really use help.

I have a shut-off notice on my water for almost $300, and my electric bill is close to $1000. I've tried CAPECO with no luck. Helping Hands helped me a few months ago, so I can't get any assistance from them for another year. It really has gotten down to the count. If I don't have the money by the 20th of March, I will be without power and water. I had a friend who was helping when they could, but they're in a tight situation themselves now.

I've never had to ask for the kindness of strangers before. I've always been able to work and make my own way, but now my body has given its all, and I just can't. I'm starting physical therapy soon, but that could take months I just don't have. Any help would go a long way. Thank you.
