Nursing Our Nurse Back to Health – Help Juan Heal

My brother, Juan, is a devoted father, kind brother and friend, and a registered nurse, who has spent his life caring for others.

Two weeks ago, he was in a devastating car accident brought on by a sudden medical emergency. By a miracle, he survived. But he suffered two severely broken ankles with a compound fracture, an arm and wrist fracture, and significant and likely permanent nerve damage. His journey ahead includes potentially more surgeries, relearning how to walk, and enduring months of physical therapy.

While Juan focuses on healing over the next few months, we’re asking for your help to ease the financial burden of medical bills, rehabilitation, and living costs for him and his son. Every donation—big or small—will make a difference.

As an update for everyone, he is now home and healing, but has to attend multiple doctor’s appointments and is wheelchair-bound. His insurance does not cover the medical transport to or from appointments. The options are limited and costly.
