In Memory of Sophia

Sophia was diagnosed with a brain tumour in August 2020 at 3 years old and sadly gained her angel wings in January 2024 surrounded by her loving family. As Sophia’s big sister I am determined to make her proud and everything I do from now on will be for her. Myself, Sophia’s dad (Matt) and my best friend (Mia Evans) will be taking on the 3 Welsh Peaks Challenge (Snowdon, Cadair Idris, Pen y Fan) in 24 hours on 2nd June 2024. We will be wearing pink tutus and unicorn headbands as these were some of Sophia’s favourite colours and accessories.

We will also be raising money for 3 different organisations that are close to us as a family, that will help other children and animals as Sophia would have wanted. The money we raise will be split between Stray Aid Animal Rescue Service, Pepperfield Farm Hedgehog Rescue (as Sophia loved to share her caring nature for wildlife and animals she raised money for this with her own homemade crafts and in her memory they have named a care unit after her!), lastly, a food bank centre for children who are not so lucky as us.

Despite going through the unimaginable at such a young age, Sophia was the most positive, caring, loving and happy little girl anyone could have ever met. She lit up the room as she walked in with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She enjoyed going on adventures and loved dancing, climbing and anything outdoors. Sophia was a precious daughter, sister, granddaughter and niece to a family who wants her memory to live on forever and to be shared for everyone to be aware of the warrior this little girl was. All we ask is for you to share and if possible donate, no donation is too big or too small❤️
