Hello, my name is Shannon. My husband, Mario, who is 42, was diagnosed a year ago with a 4.5MM brain tumor, and months later was diagnosed with stenosis of the left jugular vein at the C1 level with compression of the left styloid process. He will need to undergo surgery to open up his concluded left jugular vein to allow blood flow to his brain and take the pressure off the right side jugular vein. He suffers from severe headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and depression due to this new diagnosis. He is a hardworking husband and father who has worked full-time since he was 18, but is finding it extremely hard to maintain a quality of life at this point.
On top of having to deal with his devastating medical conditions, he has been in and out of court hearings for the past three years due to his first marriage, which has been a huge financial burden, trying to represent himself and afford lawyer fees on a monthly basis. This has affected his mental health to the point he was recently admitted and released from a Health Rehab Center to get the help he needed to handle and cope with everything going on.
Surgery was originally scheduled for September 2025, but he received a call a few days ago that he can have this surgery moved up to next month in July. He has so many hospital bills that are due and will come due once surgery happens that he simply can’t afford, that we are desperately asking for the public’s help. God bless you!
