Paws in the Park
Tax deductible

We need your help! In the past the park had been supported by annual fundraisers which have been canceled due to COVID 19. The Dog Park costs around four thousand dollars a year to operate, expenses include:
Dog waste bags, watch weekly maintenance program, garbage, water, refreshing painted signs, paths, plants, benches, and walkway stones. In addition to the Dog Park there is also a community garden that regularly needs tending such as mulch, garden tools, hoses, and pots. All other repairs and maintenance are paid for by volunteers.
This Park means so much to the community for a very specific reason. You see a few years ago our community saw an increase in suicides, brought on by social isolation. Several Rotarian's and citizens wanted to alleviate this problem, this small plot of land dedicated to friendship, socialization, and good will would be the perfect answer! To date on any given day you can drive by the dog park and community garden and see people laughing and enjoying each other's company.
We want to thank you in advance for your generous support to this very worthy community project.
