When it rains it pours...

Following the unexpected passing of our dad last Wednesday, my sister and her fiancé lost their home to a fire last night. They were at my mom's making memorial cards for my dad's service this Saturday, when she got the call that her house was on fire. Fortunately,  my sister, her fiancé, and all five of their children are okay, but sadly their dogs and all possessions were lost.

The amount of love my sister and her family have in their heart makes this so much more painful for all of us. How do you keep explaining such horrible tragedies to young children? Let a lone have to handle it yourself...
