My name is Grant Miller. Founder and CEO of Program Valkyrie.

I am a Canadian Forces Combat veteran who was Wounded In Action by an Improvised explosive device while on foot patrol in Afghanistan in 2010. I have seen what trauma does both on the battlefield and right here at home.

Everyday - Veterans, Police, First Responders - along with many other Canadians struggle with post traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries, depression, chronic pain and addictions.

For many, these mental health challenges are severe and unrelenting, and it's heartbreaking to see Canadians losing hope. I believe that with the right support, people can find healing and recovery. Various therapies, including traditional and alternative approaches, can be effective in treating trauma and depression and that MAID should be considered as an option only when every other option has been exhausted and when quality of life is diminished beyond repair

Program Valkyrie integrates psychedelic therapy into individual wellness plans to help people who have suffered from PTSD, TBI, depression, chronic pain and addictions live their best lives. We have helped many Canadians and we are just getting started.

We are raising funds to complete many community programs, edit and finalize our documentary, Website and help Canadians who can’t afford treatment. Every dollar supports healing and hope.

I have had too many friends fall through the cracks to suicide. I almost fell through myself. This is more than just business for me. It’s my mission and I promise to leave this mental health crisis better than how I found it. Program Valkyrie is something I wish I had 15 years ago when I returned from Afghanistan. I am sober, active, thinking clearly, mentally at peace, and managing pain better than I ever have before.
