Support Rob Mortensen's Fight Against Brain Cancer
Donation protected
As many of you know, but for those of you who don't, our dear friend Rob Mortensen was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, Stage 4 Brain Cancer in November 2022. He has already been on an extremely long road, with many surgeries to remove the tumor, which very unfortunately has grown back with extreme aggressiveness. He has tried many different methods of treatment and after his most recent surgery to remove the massive growth, he is now needing physical and occupational therapy.
Robby is currently undergoing radiation treatment and chemo therapy and the physical toll this is taking on his body is overwhelming. He is on a lot a pain medication because his body is under extreme pain and he is currently in the hospital, with hopes of getting out soon. He has been unable to work since March because he has had limited use of the left side of his body. He is currently looking for assistance one to two days a week for in-home care. A majority of the donations will go to in home care, costing approximately $400 a day. His father has been his main caretaker and is in need of a much needed relief.
Robby has a beautiful 8-year-old daughter, Hannah, that he loves with every ounce of his being. Caring for her along with this terrible disease has been beyond difficult for him. He is in need of financial assistance for care, food, cell phone, internet and the bare necessities. Anything that we can do to relieve some of these costs would be incredibly beneficial. He has been an incredible friend to so many, an incredible father, and would bend over backwards for the people that he cares about. His friends and family love him so much and anything that we can do to help him on this courageous journey to healing and caring for his loved ones would be more than appreciated.
You can follow his journey and see what he has been through on his instagram page...
