Jared Hall Medical Benefit

In December 2023, Jared was diagnosed with Melanoma following the removal of a brain tumor. After beginning treatment, it was discovered that the disease has spread. His doctors at UNC, Chapel Hill, NC referred him to MDAnderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX to be under the care of one of the nation’s best Melanoma Oncologists. After two rounds of radiation, he now faces nine more weeks of intense treatment of ipi/nivo immunotherapy, additional maintenance drugs, and frequent trips to Texas over the next two or more years.

As his mom, Jodi writes:  

“Our prayer request- we pray that Jared’s body and mind stay strong and healthy enough to endure the treatment, that the immune therapy attacks the bad cells and spares the good ones , and that the doctors continue to have wisdom and resources to minister to Jared’s needs.  

But most of all, we pray that God is given glory through it all.  We pray that we see God’s goodness during the pruning and through the storm.  God is great and God is good… all the time!”

God’s word for Jared and for those who read this… allow these words from scripture to illuminate you…For as Ephesians 3:16-21 says:  

                                                                                                                                   

16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
