NICU MOM 24.5 weeks

Day 15

The baby was born at 24.5 weeks of gestation which will require being in the hospital for at least 3 months. In these 15 days the diagnosis is not specific since the baby is growing outside the uterus until it completes its 36-week gestation phase or until required, the word “stable” is my favorite in recent days…it has been a day-to-day follow-up, the check-ups are done more than 3 times a day where they verify the functioning of all his organs (lungs, stomach , intestines, heart, brain) it has been a roller coaster of emotions, sometimes there is no time to feel them but what I do feel that it is certain that God and the Holy Mary have been in control since day 1 of this journey… as a mother of For such a small baby, right now there is no world or head outside this hospital… thank you from the bottom of my heart and if you just share this story it would be a great help!<3.

El bebé nació de 24.5 semanas de gestación lo cual va a requerir estar en el hospital por lo menos 3 meses, en estos 15 días el diagnóstico no es específico ya que el bebé está creciendo afuera del utero hasta tanto complete su fase de gestación de 36 semanas o hasta tanto lo requiera, la palabra “estable” es mi favorita de estos últimos días …ha sido un seguimiento de día a día los chequeos los hacen más de 3 veces al día donde verifican el funcionamiento de todos sus órganos (pulmones, estómago, intestinos, corazón, cerebro) ha sido una montaña rusa de emociones a veces no hay tiempo para sentirlas pero si siento que l más o seguro es que Dios y la Virgen han estado en control desde el día 1 de esta travesía… cómo mamá de un bebé tan chiquito ahorita no hay ni mundo ni cabeza afuera del hospital…de corazón gracias y si solo compartes esta historia sería de gran ayuda ! El día sábado 19 de enero alrededor de la 1 de la mañana a causa de un manchado inusual y dolor de estómago constate decidi ir a emergencia en el Hospital Pembroke memorial west, sin esperarme un resultado de trabajo de parto de 4cm de dilatación, teniendo en cuenta que tengo 24 semanas de gestación, lo cual requirió de manera inmediata ser trasladada a un Hospital especial para cuidado de niños prematuros, a este punto no se ve la opción de salir bajo ninguna circunstancia ya que pondría en riesgo la salud del bebé y la mía hasta tanto se pueda esperar lo más que pueda para asegurar bienestar para el bebé…no se hasta cuando pueda volver a trabajar y es por esto que he decidido abrir esta campaña para cubrir mis costos ya que no se sabe hasta cuando estaré en esta situación…teniendo en cuenta que soy mamá soltera y no tengo otro tipo de ayuda…de corazón solo mil GRACIAS quien pueda colaborar!

Day 63

Thank you all for the support, kindness, words, caring, prayings, anything anything this is not easy but we feel the prescrnce the god everywhere …we are a believers and we know that God choose us as a testimony, to help others to take care of any minimum detail around them can affect and had consequences, Baby is in he’s day 63 of born, which means that we have more days in the NICU, baby still needs to grow more and he’s lungs needs to madurate, even though he’s progressing, one day is another day of growing…
