Community Tomato Garden

Help Calvert Hills Start a Tomato Garden!

Hi I'm Rebekka, a student at the University of Maryland, who is currently in the Outreach committee in my housing co-op in Calvert Hills. One of our goals for our co-op is to help the Calvert HIlls community foster relations with students and the residents, as well as provide alternative food sources like tomatoes! The dream is to plant enough tomatoes that the members of the community will be able to come by and take as many tomatos as they need--as a way to give back to the community, and also it would be an open access garden where anyone can come plant what they want and take what they want!

Any support is great! We have a plot of land at one of our houses and need volunteers to help till the soil and get us started
