Help the Al Masry Family Survive the Siege

My name is Alan Leverenz and I live in New York. In April 2024, I met this wonderful family online while searching for Palestinians to assist directly. I have been in daily contact with them ever since, at times exchanging messages during nightly missile strikes, praying for their survival. They have a deep faith which has sustained them, though their life has been shattered and they are always in danger with jets and drones circling above.

The Almasri family parents are Reem and Mohammed. Obada is their adorable son. The father has a business administration certificate but can't get a job because of the devastation. The mother was studying at university but she cannot finish because of the war. Their 4-year-old son has lived through 4 wars. He has spent his life in war, fear, and under bombardment.

Their home was destroyed early last year. When the ceasefire began they built a 2-story structure next to the ruins of their home with concrete blocks and wood. But when Netanyahu suddenly broke the ceasefire approaching Eid al-Fitr they barely escaped in the middle of the night, with no time to collect their clothes.

The ever-tightening siege that has cut off food and water has made it increasingly difficult to find food. Whatever is offered by local merchants is extremely expensive.
