Sherry’s medical care

My sister Sherry was diagnosed with SCLC (small cell lung cancer) in August last year when they found a single tumor in her lung.  She went through chemo and radiation until November and was given  positive news in December that they had shrunk the tumor and did not see any metastatic tumors at all. She was feeling ok until about 2 weeks ago...and her life and the lives of her family changed drastically.  They found tumors on her liver and in her bone marrow and as positive as everyone was at first, her small weak body just couldn't fight the attack that had been launched by this cancer. Yesterday,  Thursday February 15, 2018, her oncologist gave the bad news. The treatments weren't working and there is nothing more that can be done and it was time for my sister to go home to be with her family in the environment she would be most comfortable  . Her husband Mark works very hard and is a super proud man who would never ask for help but the cost of cancer is far more than any person can handle even with insurance.  Sherry's daughter Tina has been at her side throughout this whole process making sure she has what she needs and is making sure she is taken care of until the end.
Any donations you can make would be greatly appreciated by everyone who knows and loves her.  If you cannot make a donation please share the link with all of your friends and family.  Everything you can do will make a positive impact to Sherry and most especially her family at this time.
