Chemo Fund for Chase Fisher
Donation protected
First, thank you for taking the time to read Chase's story. Chase, born 7/17/2008 is Adam and Tamara's second son of four. He was born with a genetic disorder called neurofibromatosis (NF1). This disorder causes tumors to grow in various parts of his body, specifically his brain. Recently tumors (gliomas) were discovered in Chase's optic nerve pathways and growth was detected in gliomas already present in his brain. With the guidance of the amazing doctors at Children's Hospital in Omaha, NE they will be starting Chase on chemotherapy on October 20th through a port that will be surgically placed on October 7th. His treatments will be administered on an outpatient, weekly basis. We all are anticipating a good result and a stabilizing of Chase's eyesight, but if left untreated or if treatment is unsuccessful, Chase could lose eyesight in both eyes. Donations would go to help alleviate medical expenses not covered by insurance. They would also compensate for unpaid time off Adam will need to take to help care for Chase and his three brothers. We are standing firm in the promise that God is near and that He is capable of miracles.
