Please bare with me as I try to put into words how amazing a man Archie Dean was… (he already knew I was awful with words and he loved me dearly anyways lol)
Today the world seems a little dimmer…
This past weekend, on January 27/28th 2023, the world lost one of the most genuine, kind hearted, funny, loyal, corky, simple yet extremely deep (“that what he said”- Archie would enjoy the humor bc we both would laugh when we were in uncomfortable situations or try to make light of the situations) He was knowledgeable on the most random things, fun loving, more of a junk food junky then myself (shocking I know!), good at getting people out of their shell, brush it off, “we’ll figure it out”, easy going person…
He was an outstanding friend, he was a great dad, he was a son to a wonderful woman, a younger brother, he was an amazing spouse and partner in crime. Our time was cut short due to a tragic accident.. at our home..
We have wonderful neighbors who helped when I could not be there.
Our friends have shown so much love and support. He truly surrounded himself with the same kind of people that he, himself was. The best.
Archie was a unique and amazing soul that could make you laugh in the most uncomfortable, random situation. It was a gift he had..
He loved his job as a medic bc that’s what he loved to help people then they needed it most.
He would tell us to not be sad, he wouldn’t want that.. he would want us to carry on his personality and his spirit. He would say continue to be weird and you’ll figure it out from here..
He was my calm place.. and from the sounds of it.. he was a lot of people's calm place.
In this time, I would like to try to collect money for his memorial in Erie, PA.. if you can help, thank you!
If you can’t, please post a story you had of Archie to share then share this post, please.
Thank you for your time.
