Hey friends,

My mum and dad love me very much and I’m normally a very well behaved little boy but today I did something very naughty. I was playing fetch and was going back to mum but saw another dog and ran off. I was too excited and followed the other pup out of the park and across the road..but then a lady hit me with her car. 

She stopped at first but then kept driving while I was stuck under her car. She dragged me 20 metres before Mum and the other dogs owner managed to get the lady to stop and the wonderful people at the bus depot were able to get me out from under the car with a car jack. The lovely vet at Bondi junction vet even raced over from their clinic to try and help me out - but I needed more specialist care to help me live.

 

My best friends pawrents were able to race me and mum to the hospital and the staff managed to keep me alive and check all of my injuries. I’m still receiving oxygen to help assist with breathing and for the bruised lungs. They have cleaned all the gravel and dead skin from my shoulder and stitched some of me back together. The Drs looking after me say I broke both bones in my left leg and I will need emergency surgery to repair my leg with a plate.

Although mum and dad were silly enough to not have pet insurance for emergencies, they say they have most of the money to help me get better and back home, but might need some help finding the rest.
