Adam Guess is a very loved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend that was recently diagnosed with leukemia. While his doctors have been working to find a chemo treatment he developed another very rare type of cancer called myelofibrosis, which is caused by the build up of scar tissue in the bone marrow. With the discovery of this new cancer and the progression of the leukemia his treatment team has recommended a stem cell transplant for Adam. This procedure will prove to be a major challenge but one that could very well provide a cure. The transplant will keep Adam hospitalized for six weeks while he undergoes chemo and radiation. This will be followed by 100+ days of 24/7 care.

A little about Adam.

Adam is a head chef in Nashville, TN where he lives with his wife Monica… who is also a chef. Think.. culinary power couple.

They love working together, cooking together, exploring together, and just being together. Adam and Monica were just married in October of last year. Two individuals that truly belong together!

Adam is dedicated to the people who depend on him. Loyal and loving to his family and friends. A true giver at heart.

In the few months since Adam was first diagnosed with leukemia he has stood strong and positive through every step. Which is just a reflection of the kind of heart Adam has always shown in the face of every trial. There have been countless financial and physical obstacles but with the daily loving support of his wife they have moved forward.

Moving forward into this next phase of treatment will require much more financially than most could afford, which is why his family and friends have put this gofundme together. Adam and his family would be so very grateful for any donation you could make to help fund his treatment.
