Hi, my name is Rose and I'm making this on behalf of my little brother and mom. My little brother is in icu fighting for his life right now. A few months ago he was diagnosed with a very rare disease in adults, langerhans cell histiocytosis. It caused tumors and lesions on all of his bones. He went for spinal surgery to help his neck but the bones were so weak the screws fell out, he had a 2nd surgery to try and correct that but when he went to start chemo and they checked his neck and those screws came out too. They admitted him and did a 12 hours surgery to remove everything and try something else. He has been in the icu for more than a week. He is heavily sedated with a ventilater breathing for him. He had a halo bolted into his head to try to help his neck. The last time I spoke to my brother was july 1st before his surgery. My brother was the one that help my mom with bills and now he can't. We don't know how long he is going to be like this or what will happen after he wakes. I am asking for any financial help for my mom so she doesn't fall behind or worse.
