Donation protected
My father's name is Louis McFadden, he unfortunately passed away on Tuesday June 23rd of 2020. My dad originally found out he had esophageal cancer in late 2016, he survived 6 surgeries in a month and then went into remission. Little did his family know, this was only the start of my dad's fight. In 2019, the cancer had came back and this time it was not going away without a fight. For the past year and a half, my father has fought diligently to beat his illness. Even in poor health, he always talked about his bucket-list and going back to work. If my dad was anything, he was an amazing father and a hard worker. Anyone you ask will tell you how much he loved to spend time with his family and always keep moving.
My dad always took matters into his own hands and did what he needed to do without the grumbling and self pity. He is the strongest and most optimistic man I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He did one hell of a job raising my little brother and I. He always took my little brother Aidan dirt biking, it was one of their many hobbies they did together. Like myself, Aidan and I always got chosen for the odd jobs. My dad would always take us to go professionally paint or have us help put new carpet into buildings for the jobs of the week. He never left us kids out of anything, he appreciated having our support and help whenever he could.
The costs were a little higher than I expected for his funeral service. Any donation big or small would be more than helpful. With any excess money we raise I'm going to put towards fixing up my fathers old truck for my younger brother.
I thank you all for the love and support and to know my father was loved by so many people warms my heart. He would be happy to know how loved he was by his friends and family.
