Hello, I'm Thomas, creator of the webcomic, "a wish that bloomed in fall."

As many of you might know, my family and I have been struggling financially for the past few months. My father was suddenly laid off with zero warning and we almost got evicted from our apartment back in April. Thankfully, we managed to pay for it just in time with the help of everyone through GoFundMe.

After that, during May and June, my father and I have been job hunting nonstop and trying to find ways to save money. I am very thankful food pantries exist. That gave us hope and something to eat.

A lot of bills also arrived during those months so we really had to scrape every penny we had, and not to mention we had to pay hundreds to get my father into the job he is currently in now. Yes, he finally got a job. Not much luck on my side though. I've been through two interviews where the position I applied for wasn't actually open. It was very frustrating. But I'm not giving up. We're slowly recovering though, but our only problem now is paying rent for the months of June and July. We're also getting anxious because August is approaching and we don't really want to see another eviction notice.

So once again I am asking everyone to help us raise about $3,500 before the end of the month. It will really help us alleviate all the stress and worries these problems have caused. Especially my father who has been through a lot. He's very exhausted. Please spread the word, that would really help. I hope everything becomes stable again after this. And I really want to thank everyone who has helped and supported us over the past few months. I haven't thanked you all properly yet, I am just very anxious right now to do or say anything.
