Amy’s road to recovery

My name is Sierra Andrade. I am trying to raise money to help support my mother as she recovers from traumatic injury. She had a ruptured aneurysm that was bleeding into her chest and throughout her abdomen. With only a 1% chance of survival, she endured a 13-hour surgery. Doctors were able to successfully repair the damage and close her chest. Unfortunately, the swelling in her abdomen is so severe, they are unable to close. Still listed as critical, she continues to have problems with bleeding. She will likely require at least 3 more visits to the OR to successfully close her abdomen once the swelling subsides. Until then, she is medically sedated and paralyzed. My grandmother will frequently need to travel round trip from Santa Cruz to San Francisco to be there with her. I’m reaching out for help to cover the costs of that travel, medical expenses, as well as financial support for my mother as she struggles with immobility in her recovery.
