Peace for Denise Ann

After a long complicated medical history going back 18 years of cardiac procedures, neurological conditions and breast cancer we were led to believe for the past 5 years Denise was cancer free. That unfortunately was not the case. On New Year’s Eve we spent the morning at Zimmer Cancer Center learning that she has Stage 4 cancer in her entire spine, collarbones, lymph nodes and sternum. Additional scans showed it also has spread to her arms, legs and many vital organs. Metastatic Lobular Breast Cancer was confirmed. Chronic conditions can place heavy burdens on an already exhausted person with frequent doctor visits, medical copays and prescription medications. The bills have already started coming in from the scans as well as treatment injections biweekly.

Denise loves her three dogs and her family. Her eagerness is to stay well enough to travel and see places she hasn't been able to and spend her time with friends and family near and far in between treatments.
