My cousin Amber is fighting to recover at MUSC in Charleston with rapidly progressing liver disease. An ER visit just weeks ago revealed cirrhosis; since then, she’s declined fast—decompensated with ascites, worsening kidney function, and severe malnutrition.
After 18 days in her local hospital, she was transferred to MUSC. The team’s first goal is to restore kidney function so she can start the liver-transplant evaluation. She’s also battled relentless daily nausea and vomiting for 10–11 months, which may be a separate issue.
Amber is a devoted single mom to her 12-year-old daughter, Bella. Being away from Bella during a long hospital stay is heartbreaking—and costly.
We’re raising funds for medical bills not covered by insurance, travel and lodging near MUSC, and essential living expenses while she heals. Every donation, share, and prayer helps. Thank you for lifting her up and helping our family through this fight.
