In an instant, everything I use to create and make a living was gone.
I’m Skylar Matas, a traveling photographer from New Braunfels, TX. On November 7th, over $6,500 in camera gear, along with my hard drive containing years of work was stolen. Images and stories I’ll never get back.
Photography is my life, passion, and livelihood. What drives me is storytelling: capturing real moments and turning them into lasting memories.
This loss has paused my ability to work and do what I love most. I created this GoFundMe to help replace what was taken, rebuild, and get back behind the camera.
