This Year at Destination Imagination States in Orono our three oldest kids competed together with two other students on a team for GNG High School and took first place. After four years this team reached their goal and there were actual tears of joy they were so excited! Not only did they take home the state title they received the renaissance award for excellence in engineering for the working hover craft they built. By winning states they are given the privilege of competing at the Global Level in Tennessee where they will represent the state of Maine and compete against teams from 48 states and 15 countries! This is a great honor but also an expensive trip. We are doing lots of group fundraisers to get their team and our GNG middle school team there (follow my facebook I'll be posting all of them) but also have a lot of individual fundraising to do to get our kids there. Any money raised above our goal will be donated to the other families pay to get their students there. Thank You!
