Support for a Caring Family in Need

I have set this up not at the request of the kids. Sorry kids if this bothers you… But you can image the expense of this adding up. Austin is a very hard working man and honestly needs the ability to be home more and not worry about the bills. So here is the first update we are sharing. If you feel you are able to help much appreciate. You can also send Apple Pay direct to Chandra or Me.
Update #1 September 12th at 11:24 and 11:26 we welcomed our twins into the world. With them being born prematurely we decided to wait to announce the births due to the fact we knew we would be doing Nicu time and we wanted to be able to process and focus on healing prior to the celebrations and questions from our caring friends and family. We came home with our son on Sunday and our daughter was not far behind, we were told.
In the last 24 hours things have taken a turn for the worse and our daughter has rapidly declined out of nowhere. We come to social media now to ask for prayers for our family and specifically our daughter Elise Jean. Please ask for God to intervene, strengthen her and guide the doctors here!
We will update when we are able and look forward to officially announcing their births when they are both home. In the mean time please be understanding to the fact that we may not have the mental or emotional capacity to answer every message, dm or call.
UPDATE #2: Elise has been able to be titrated down to 6L of oxygen from 8L. She must still receive her feeds through tube feeding as it is too dangerous for her to eat via bottle right now. She is more alert and even gets down right ticked off at times. We are taking each day with pray as she recovers from her lung collapsing and whatever possible infection she has. This is the short version of all the details. Continued prayer for Elise and the whole family.
Update #3. Elise is down to 3L of oxygen but unfortunately now Chandra is very sick and being admitting into the hospital. Ironically the same one Elise is at. They will not be sharing a room. I know they will get her all fixed up. So just continued prayer for these kids as it seems to be one thing after another. Now let’s get Chandra home before Elise.
Update #4
Elise’s lungs collapsed again this morning 10/8/24.
They are running Covid, flu and strep to make sure it’s not an infection she’s fighting. Once that comes back, which they believe will be negative, they’ll run a swallow xray that basically watches her swallow milk to see if she’s properly able to use her body to eat. Much continued prayers needed
Update #5 October 12th, one month later since Elise and Dallas birth on Sept 12th. And needless to say its been a busy month with the births, Chandra hospitalized again with complications, and Elise’s lung collapsing 2 different times. Dallas however is home, eating, and doing well. So along the way we have all had our highs and lows. In addition to Praises and tears.
So to Elise…. She is still in the NICU with the parents fitting in visits as they can between work and running a household with three little ones in it already. The children are not allowed in the NICU. So Asher nor AlannaLynn have gotten to meet Elise yet
Since her most recent lung collapse she has been titrated down from 8L to 3L as of today. All feedings right now are via tube feeding only until they do her swallow evaluation on Monday. That test will help the doctors determine next steps.
So prayer requests: pray for the kids as all this is a huge transition, pray for finances, pray for everyones health (especially as we enter cold and flu season), and pray for Elise overall healing and direction for the doctors.
And thank you in advance for your prayers and to those who could financially help. It is honestly much appreciated but we do not want other families to suffer their own hardships from doing it. We are also very thankful for the church congregation who has stopped by with meals. Everything is GREATLY appreciated!!!! Please know this.
