Manchester Marathon 2025
I’ll be completing the Manchester Marathon in memory of Amani Liaquat, a beautiful friend, daughter, sister and all round soul who was taken far too soon at 23 years old by Glioblastoma Brain Cancer.
Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40. Despite this horrifying stat, they remain under researched and underfunded with a cure further away than it should be.
Read Amani’s story on the link provided, and follow along on Amani’s mum’s instagram (@Fight4Amani) for further fundraising opportunities that are ongoing in Amani’s honour.
More information about Brain Tumour Research: Brain Tumour Research is dedicated to raising funds for continuous and sustainable scientific research into brain tumours, and we are a leading voice calling for greater support and action for research into what scientists are calling the last battleground against cancer.
