Help Me Give My Dad A Proper Memorial

Hi My Name Is Natalie,  I'm starting this GoFund Me on behalf of my father Ricky Morrison. On September 25, 2021 we were told by doctors my dad will not survive without the help of machines. If anyone knows Ricky they know what a hardworking man he was. He was a person who loved the outdoors and was always under a hood of a car. When he wasn't working he was with family. He always made sure family was together enjoying the outdoors and each other's company. He is survived by his wife Yolanda, who he spent 33 years of his life, His five children 2 in which he raised like his own, and his 13 grandchildren who he will not get to see grow up.  My Dad has had a long five years with medical conditions. It was very difficult to see such a strong man become bed ridden. All his health issues started with a stroke that caused sever damage to his body and every day life. For those five years he was diagnosed with many more health issues that took a toll on him and his family. But what we have endured these passed couple of months  no one was ready for.  My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell cancer in his lung which spread quickly to his liver, we were told by doctors that chemo was his only option. We did our first chemo and that went horribly wrong, his body was extremely weak after the chemo and he passed out at home. He was rushed to the hospital where we were told we have to make the most horrible decision of our lives and pull him from the machines. So on September 30, 2021 we granted his dying wish of marrying his true love my mother before we pulled the machines. So now we are planning a funeral and the expenses are too much for us. As of right now my dad is still holding on but we know what is to come in the next few days and we want to be ready to send him away the way he would want to.
