Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and support our campaign.
For those of you who know my family, my children Ethan (8th grader) and Elise (5th grader) currently both attend Chinese Immersion schools in Washington DC. Ethan had the opportunity to travel to China in May 2013 with his 5th Grade Class thanks to each and every one of your kind donations to his fund.
Now that my daughter Elise is in the 5th grade, she too has the opportunity to travel to China for her 5th Grade Class trip as well. In addition, Ethan having progressed to middle school also has an 8th Grade Class trip to China to further his interbaccaleurate education prior to entering high school.
Elise will be traveling and exploring the cities of Beijing, Chengdu, Zunyi, and Meitan. Elise will visit many of the historical landmarks of China like Tienanmen Square, The Great Wall of China, The Olympic Village, Shanghai Museum, and also have the opportunity to experience the culture of living with a host family during her stay.
Ethan will be traveling and exploring the cities of Beijing, Chengdu, Sichuan, Zunyi, Guizhou, and Liping. While in China, Ethan will have a short period for siteseeing, living with a host family during his stay, and spend the remainder of his time on a service project with his host family brother/sister in which the DCI students will go to a local minority village and lead an English summer camp.
It is our hope that we can raise enough funds for both Elise and Ethan to participate in these phenomenal excursions and gain firsthand knowledge, as well as a worldly view, of the unlimited possibilities for their education.
Your support allows both Elise and Ethan to attend their trips with his classmates, which includes the following:
- Round-trip airfare
- Domestic airfare routing in China
-Travel insurance
-All meals
-All local transportation, including but not limited to, domestic flights, trains, and charter buses.
-All hotels, based on twin shares, except during the family stay portion of the program.
This is a great opportunity for Elise and Ethan, and every little bit counts. Due to lack of coparental support and litigation, I humbly ask for your assistance. Thank you so much for supporting my children!! We love and appreciate you all!
**Please note: Elise's trip will take priority since Ethan has traveled with his 5th grade class. The first $3500 will go to Elise's trip. The second $3500 will go to support Ethan's trip. All funds will be paid directly to the company organizing the class trips.
